Rothera Wharf
Client: Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation team
The Danny Sullivan Group were extremely proud to be part of the Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation team, working on the most extreme and remote construction sites in the world! Completed in 2020, the Rothera Wharf project involved constructing a 74 metre wharf over 18 months during the Antarctic summer. The completed Wharf can accommodate and moor the new polar research vessel, the Sir David Attenborough, for UK polar scientists to carry out ocean and climate research.
