DSG kickstart Employability Programme with Work Integration Network and Mayor of London.
We have just kickstarted our Employability Programme with Work Integration Network #WIN and Mayor of London. The first session started off with a mixed group of young adults keen to get an insight on the roles and prospects of the construction industry. This session started off with an overview of the Employability Programme, introductions from Rommell Wallace and the DSG team – Eibhlin Flynn Head of Client Relations & Business Development, Ruairí Coffey Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager and the CSR and Marketing team Sheraye Olive and manager Brooke Parsons. This workshop helped warm everyone up for the programme as well as being packed full of interactive activities helping to identify each participants individual leadership style, understanding how to enhance individual strengths and highlighting areas of their leadership styles that can be developed.

Heroic response to robbery
Our Managing Director, Timothy O Sullivan and Chairperson, Danny O’Sullivan met with Ioan Ardelean yesterday to thank him for his heroic response to a robbery, whilst working on Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure, Old Street site.
Ioan, was working on the concourse, when he noticed a blind woman was making her way through the pedestrian area, he spotted two members of the general public trying to go in her bag to steal what they could. Ioan immediately rushed over to intervene and the two men ran off with nothing. The two men were later arrested by police and Ioan was thanked by the police and site.
Incredible response by Ioan, going above and beyond his role to care for the safety of others – well done, we are all very proud!
We made contact with Shaftsbury High School to assist with their school meals campaign during half-term.
Our team at DSG made contact with Shaftsbury High School to see if we could assist with their school meals campaign during half-term.
We donated to help 100 families, so that young people with their own challenges in everyday life can be supported over the half term period and also this Christmas.
The school informed us that the money raised will not only help Shaftsbury High but also three other special needs schools in the Harrow area.
