At Danny Sullivan Group, we provide fully qualified and experienced operatives to major tunnelling and underground construction projects throughout the UK. We consider our involvement in the construction of the A3 Hindhead Tunnel, the UK’s second longest road tunnel, to be one of our greatest tunnelling achievements.
We had an integral role in the construction of the Heathrow Express Line upgrade which now ensures the fastest travel time between Heathrow Airport and Central London. We are also longstanding members of the British Tunnelling Society.
We have recently won the contract to provide labour and resources to the Northern Line Extension project. The plans to extend the Northern line to Battersea will help regenerate the Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea areas. Two new stations to be built at Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station are targeted for completion in 2020.
We are also providing labour and resources to the Thames Tideway Scheme, based in London. The scheme will construct a 25km tunnel underground for the capture, storage and conveyance of the waste and rainwater that gathers in the capital’s Victorian sewers.
Crossrail is Europe’s biggest underground construction project. Danny Sullivan Group has played an integral part in the successful construction of the 42 km railway tunnel and 14 km of station and interchange tunnels. We have supplied skilled operatives on the upgrade and construction of the following stations: Abbey Wood, Bond Street, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Paddington, Tottenham Court Road, Whitechapel, Woolwich and many more.
